Donnie Troy Biography

Born in Los Angeles, Donnie Troy has learned the importance of being a true musician and creating a niche for his own pure sound in entertaining. Donnie Troy (formerly known as Andre Mieux/AMX), has been classically trained and trained in Jazz on the piano. He began music directing at his church's choir as a young child. At the early age of 8 years old, he was playing advanced material from Rachmaninoff’s Preludes, to Chopin’s Concertos. 

He later produced and "ghost wrote" many R&B and Pop records for the production group Trilogy. Some popular names from this experiences consisted of Hannah Montana, Keith Sweat, Marques Houston, Snoop Dogg, and many others. While pursuing a long time dream of becoming a successful artist. Donnie Troy opened on tour for many notable recording artists such as R. Kelly, Miguel, Snoop Dogg, Jon B, Ginuwine, Boys 2 Men, Joe, and Jeremiah. He learned so much from being on tour with some of the best top charting artist to date. 

While Donnie Troy has had some success on FM/Am radio charts with his previous single, he produced and wrote. Donnie Troy is destined to be a true star, and most importantly a trendsetter, which sets the bar for other musicians and entertainer’s worldwide.
